EVENT FORMAT

A complete journey from registering your idea to pitching before investors and industry professionals.

PHASE 01

BeeJ

Online Registration

  • Team Details – Team name / Startup name
  • Members – Up to 5 members (Name, Phone Number, Age, Grade, Email)
  • Idea Details – A 100–120 word description covering:
  1. Why you want to participate
  2. Startup mission
  3. Supporting Materials / Logo
  4. Website (if any)
  5. Social media links (if any)
PHASE 02

Pitch Chaupal

Video Pitch Round

Your video pitch should include:

  • Startup name
  • Problem statement
  • Your solution
  • Why your startup deserves to be selected
Requirements
  • Duration: 2–3 minutes
  • Every team member must appear in the video
  • Creative editing is encouraged
Outcome
  • Top 15 teams are shortlisted
  • Selected videos are featured on our social media
PHASE 03

The Bazaar

Business Expo

  • Teams set up expo-style booths showcasing their startup
  • Visitors interact as potential customers
  • Visitors provide feedback for every startup
  • Teams gather customer insights and suggestions

Each team receives customer feedback to:

  • Refine their idea
  • Pivot if necessary
  • Strengthen their business model
PHASE 04

The Sampark

Networking Task

  • Each participant receives a Networking Passport to interact with other participants
  • Record name, college, key takeaway and signature for each interaction
  • Build as many meaningful connections as possible
Judging Criteria
  • Number & quality of interactions
  • Communication & confidence
  • Intentional collaborations
🏆 Highest scorer wins the Networking Champion Award.

PHASE 05

The Vyapar

Investment Negotiation

  • 4–5 investors observe teams and identify key risks on Day 1
  • Day 2: Teams pitch for 60 seconds, then face investor questions
  • Teams get 2 minutes to discuss and 3–4 minutes to defend and convince investors
  • Final decision: Investment / Conditional Investment / No Investment

PHASE 06

The Panchayat

Grand Pitch

Revised Pitch. Final Judgment.

  • Teams present their improved startup before the Panchayat
  • Judging is based on:
  • Quality of the pitch
  • Improvement made after customer feedback
  • The Panchayat announces the winners
